I was wearing a nude bodysuit and thought a Marine was coming over to flirt – it was actually much more embarrassing

AN already embarrassing moment was nearly made worse by one woman’s assumption about a man’s intentions.

Despite what she thought, the man wasn’t looking to hit on her — but he did have some mortifying news to deliver.

Leslie Ferdin (@thebrowguru) is a small business owner and mother who earned some sympathy on TikTok with her tale.

In a video, she explained that she was vacuuming her car while wearing a nude-colored bodysuit.

She said: “A Marine walked over to me and said: ‘Excuse me.'”

As the man approached her out of the blue, Leslie believed that he was trying to flirt with her.

The mom said: “I was about to be like ‘I’m married!'” so that the gentleman would leave her alone.

However, Leslie found the true reason for his approach far more embarrassing.

“He said to me: ‘I think you started your period,'” she continued.

Presumably, there was a noticeable red stain on the back of her outfit, and Leslie was mortified that the Marine had seen.

She said that she bolted after the embarrassing exchange, as she was mortified over what just occurred.

Video viewers found humor in the embarrassing incident.

However, many gave the anonymous Marine credit for taking the initiative to warn Leslie that her period had begun.

One person wrote: “Well thank god for that honest Marine.”

Another said: “Aww at least he told you! People will ignore it and let you walk around like that without you having a clue.”

Leslie replied: “Right?! Me thinking he was nervous to shoot his shot – no, he was nervous to embarrass me lmao.”
