Donald Trump on Saturday took a victory lap at his Iowa rally after what he described as a "gigantic court victory in Colorado" that kept him on the ballot in the state.
Trump, who earlier in the day made multiple attacks on a law clerk that he was previously barred from mentioning under a now-stayed gag order, said on stage at the Iowa Commit to Caucus event in Fort Dodge that the "fake news media" is having an "absolute meltdown" because of the decision finding that he engaged in insurrection but couldn't be blocked from the ballot.
The former president said the judge in the Colorado case "saw the light."
"We had a very radical left judge who was saying a lot of things that were not nice, and in the end she saw the light and did what was supposed to have been done, we won and defeated -- they had an outrageous attempt -- the same people who have been suing me for like seven years," Trump said, adding, "Ever hear of CREW?"
Trump, referring to the government watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), said they are "a bunch of losers."

"They have been losing for seven years but they don't stop. It was an outrageous attempt at disenfranchising millions of voters by getting us thrown off the ballot. In the end the judge said we cannot do that. If they did that it would've been very difficult for our country."
He continued:
"So now we have beaten the radical left democrats, the ballot rigging scam in Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota and New Hampshire and other states. They talk about the 14th amendment -- they came up with this concept, maybe we can keep him off, what are we going to do with him? They are very tired of us, we won the first one and we won the second one even bigger, and we got screwed, that is what happened."
