This achievement took place during the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Rohit now holds the record for hitting the most sixes against a single opponent in the ODI format, surpassing Gayle's previous record of 85 sixes against England. Rohit has managed an impressive total of 86 sixes against Australia in the 50-over format.
