I have no wrinkles thanks to ‘Botox in a bowl’ made with one ingredient from the supermarket – I slather it on my face

A SKINCARE whizz has hailed “homemade Botox” as the reason she has zero wrinkles and a glowing complexion.

Victoria Benitez uses one ingredient you can purchase from the supermarket to create an age-busting face mask

All you have to do is boil some flax seeds with water to create a “goop”.

Victoria assures the unusual texture will tighten your pores and any fine lines when slathered onto your skin.

“Perhaps I am so comfortable saying no to this wrinkle reducer because most people are under the assumption that I already have it,” she penned on her website, BeSpoken Society.

“While I don’t have any Botox, I do have something better – flaxseeds.

“If you found me on TikTok you’ve probably already seen just how nice and tight this mask makes my face.”

Flaxseed is packed with omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidants and phytochemicals – all of which prevent your skin from premature ageing.

Its anti-inflammatory properties can help strengthen skin cells and retain moisture, which is a key to plump and youthful skin.

Victoria makes the mask by mixing two cups of water with a quarter cup of flaxseeds and bringing to a boil on the hob.

Once it gets gooey, you need to put the mixture through a sieve or cheesecloth to “squeeze the goop out”.

The “goop” will become a thick gel which you need to put in the fridge until it gets cold.

Then, you can apply it to your face as a “Botox” face mask.

Once the “goop” goes tight on your skin (typically after 30 minutes) you wash it off.

Victoria says the mask can be stored in the fridge for up to five days and can be applied everyday.

She added that the gel doubles up as a hair mask and “natural shampoo” thanks to its organic nature.

A packet of flaxseed can be purchased from big supermarkets or Holland & Barret for around £4.
