Miss Australia Moraya Wilson Gleams in Slick Stiletto Sandals at Miss Universe 2023
The Miss Universe 2023 pageant has officially taken place, with contestants making an array of style statements onstage.
During the occasion on Saturday night, Miss Australia Moraya Wilson took to the stage for her pageant entrance. For the occasion, her metallic silver style featured stiletto-heeled silhouette with mirrored uppers, crossed front and toe straps.
The slick set added a shimmering edge to Wilson’s attire for the occasion: an embellished, iridescent sleeveless Alin Le’ Kal minidress, complemented with crystal-coated drop earrings.
During the event’s swimsuit segment, Wilson stepped out in a pair of slingback sandals with warm brown uppers, complete with crossed upper straps and stiletto heels. The slick pair smoothly complemented her glossy, light pink bikini, which featured a bandeau-style top and two rosette accents. Crystal-trimmed hoop earrings finished the look with a subtle sparkle.
During the event’s final segment, where Wilson took third place, she sparkled in a corseted Alin Le’ Kal dress with a strapless bodice and flowing skirt. The faintly sheer style was covered in silver, gold and black beadwork and crystals for an allover statement, which Wilson complemented with crystal-covered drop earrings and a matching thin bracelet.
Miss Universe is a pageant held annually by the Miss Universe Organization, which celebrates women’s accomplishments across the world. This year’s event was held in El Salvador, featuring 86 contestants from international countries. The occasion, won by Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacio, included John Legend as this year’s musical performance and Jojo Bragais as the event’s footwear sponsor.
