Keenan Allen had fantasy managers in disbelief after he dropped a would-be TD off his chest
Keenan Allen is one of the more reliable receivers in the NFL. He’s the kind of player who can bail out a quarterback with some incredible catches. But on Sunday, he found his true nemesis:
The sun.
During the Chargers’ Week 11 matchup against the Packers at Lambeau Field, Allen was left open around the goal line on a third-down play in the third quarter. Quarterback Justin Herbert saw Allen in space and delivered a picture-perfect pass to the receiver.
Allen, though, had one of the worst drops we’ll see this season.

Allen won’t be one to make excuses for that drop because there really isn’t an excuse. But the broadcast did point out that Allen was looking into the sun, and the shadows were clearly throwing off the Chargers receiver.
Still, Allen can’t let a pass — a would-be touchdown — literally hit him in the chest. It was the kind of drop that had fantasy managers in disbelief.
