Anacona Wins Women’s Amateur Latin America Championship

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – Ela Anacona won the 2023 Women’s Latin America Championship in her hometown by 12 strokes, finishing with a 15-under 273 (67-70-67-69). She closed out her performance with a field low 69 to claim the win.

With the victory, Anacona receives:

• Women’s Amateur Latin America Trophy
• An invitation to compete at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open at St. Andrews
• An invitation to compete at the 2024 Amundi Evian Championship
• An invitation to compete at the Chevron Championship
• An exemption into the Women’s Amateur Championship and ANNIKA Invitational
• An exemption into the Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational

Anacona finished the four rounds with 23 birdies, 42 pars and just six bogeys and one double bogey.
