Tension remains in Mizoram following clashes between rebel groups and the military junta in Myanmar's Chin State. Mizoram police and Assam Rifles have increased security along the border. Mizoram DGP Anil Shukla revealed that 75 Myanmar army personnel entered Mizoram after clashes in Myanmar. Mizoram authorities rescued and handed them over to Assam Rifles, facilitating their return to Myanmar.
