I’m A Celeb fans convinced producers are ‘team Britney’ and are ‘doing Jamie Lynn dirty’ after spotting clue
I’M A Celebrity fans have been left convinced that show bosses are team Britney Spears after casting her younger sister Jamie Lynn on the show.
A number of fans have highlighted a ‘clue’ which they claim shows that ITV bosses are backing the global pop star over her sister after their bitter feud.
Jamie-Lynn Spears, 32, made her debut on the reality series last night as she moved into the Aussie camp.
She is famously locked in a family feud with Toxic hitmaker Britney after the chart-topper cut her family off after she claimed they exploited her conservatorship which saw her father Jamie have control over her assets and day-to-day activities.
The conservatorship was ended in 2021 after Britney made a number of pleas to court judges in the US and she has had no contact with Jamie Lynn or any other members of the Spears family since.
Having refused to acknowledge her sister on the programme, Jamie Lynn was thrown in at the deep end as she found herself doing a skydive from a helicopter at 15,000 feet alongside JLS singer Marvin Humes and Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard.
The Zoey 101 actress went first and was left thrilled by the experience but before taking the leap of faith, her facial expressions did little to hide her impeding fear.
It led many fans to comment on the fact that ITV chiefs had seemingly used a number of unflattering angles of the star in the lead-up to the moment.
This sparked speculation that producers were on Britney’s ‘side’ of the feud and had acted ‘in revenge’ on their behalf.
One fan said on X – formerly Twitter, alongside a photo of Jamie on the show: “They really be doing her dirty. Producers are team Brit #ImACeleb I also haven’t watched but judging by this pic.”
Many fans were quick to express their displeasure at the star taking part in the show also.
A viewer said: “Oh here she is… the devil herself miss Jamie Lynn Spears.”
Before another penned: “I hope Jamie Lynn is on dunny duty #teambritney.”
Whilst many of the show’s viewers insisted they would be voting for the star to take on the show’s tough Bushtucker Trials, she missed out with Nigel Farage and Nella Rose being chosen instead.
As Ant and Dec read out the results, Jamie gasped “what,” in shock that she had been saved by the public from taking on the Jungle Pizzeria.
