Other whispers narrow the club down to the Championship. I thought it would be fun to spitball which club it might be. My favorite is West Brom because their Chinese owner doesn't seem to be very interested. Among the other possibilities in the Championship, Coventry City & Sheffield Wednesday are currently in financial struggles. Dropping to League One, Charlton and especially Reading could be available for cheap.
