IT may be chilly outside but that doesn’t mean you need to blast your home heating just yet.
One woman shared her top three hacks for keeping warm without breaking the bank.
In her video, Raz (@raz_856) explained that her tips “will help you save money on your energy bills this winter.”
For her first tip, the TikToker recommended addressing the source of drafts in your home.
“Make sure you have these seals between the gaps of your doors and windows to ensure you don’t get any air coming through,” Raz said, showing viewers her own windows.
She also advised her followers to “layer up” while they’re lounging at home.
“Make sure you layer up and wear really warm clothes including socks,” Raz told her audience.
While she revealed that she’s not generally a fan of wearing socks at home she pointed out “It does really help you keep warm and we’re all about saving money.”
For her final recommendation, Raz shared the item she swears by for keeping cozy during the winter months.
“Forget putting the heating on, get yourself one of these electric blankets that are so much more cost-efficient,” she explained.
“It keeps you warm whether you’re in your bed or sitting on the sofa,” Raz told viewers.
