Kevin Durant hilariously pointed out the hypocrisy of bettors who message him after a loss
Athletes don’t care about your bets, parlays, fantasy teams or anything connected to them making you money. We’ve long established that. Great.
But if you must message athletes on social media about how they failed you and your attempts to make some extra cash, Kevin Durant is curious why the energy isn’t reciprocated when they help you get paid. Or, more specifically, when he helps — which he almost certainly did Sunday with 39 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists in Phoenix’s win over Utah.
Durant hilariously pointed out the hypocrisy in a message on X, wondering why nobody ever cared to break him off a little piece of the pie.
When I get ya paid, u don’t DM me and send a small percentage to my cashapp but when them parlays don’t hit, I’m every name in the book. Yall ain’t real

“When I get ya paid, u don’t DM me and send a small percentage to my cashapp but when them parlays don’t hit, I’m every name in the book. Yall ain’t real,” Durant tweeted.
It’s a great point, even if it was a joke.
