Stubble burning, a major source of air pollution in northern India, contributes to 25-30% of air quality issues in Delhi. SAP's Deputy Chair, Punit Renjen, has launched two pilot projects in Haryana and Punjab to mitigate this issue. The initiative has resulted in a 58% reduction in fire incidents in Haryana, and a 1.7 lakh acres of stubble cleared in Punjab's Patiala district.
