Construction of a foot overbridge (FOB) on Golf Course Road in Gurgaon, India, has been delayed due to the need for clearance to fell a tree in the FOB's alignment. The FOB, which is part of a project to ensure safe pedestrian movement, was supposed to be completed by June but has been stalled for three months. The DLF Foundation, responsible for the construction, is awaiting clearance from the Gurgaon Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA). The GMDA has obtained permission from the forest department to cut down the tree.
