Twenty-nine people, including doctors and consultants, have been arrested in Gurgaon over the past four months for unauthorized construction and the use of residential properties for commercial purposes. The cases were registered after the Enforcement Bureau police station was set up in Gurgaon. Most of the accused stated that they engaged in these activities to earn additional income or accommodate more family members. The police are currently investigating the cases and plan to make more arrests. Additionally, eight cases were registered for the construction of illegal colonies in nearby areas.
