IndiGo passengers traveling from Bengaluru to Chennai on a Sunday night flight claimed they were misled by airline staff, who asked them to disembark on the promise of an alternative flight. Stranded in Bengaluru, they spent the night and flew out the next morning. IndiGo confirmed the incident, saying that out of the six passengers two passengers were provided accommodation in a hotel while others preferred to spend the night at airport lounge. The affected passengers demand action for the inconvenience caused.
