Watch as the former Duke stars dominate the Sacramento Kings

We’ve all gotten used to seeing NBA teams with more than one Duke players. Happens all the time. Dallas currently has Kyrie Irving, Seth Curry and Dereck Lively. Atlanta has AJ Griffin and Jalen Johnson. Orlando has Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter.

But the pairing of Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram for the New Orleans Pelicans is pretty unique because both are All-Star level players and either is capable of taking over a game.

Take Monday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings. This video just focuses on what they’re doing and it was a pretty great night for both: Williamson finished with 26 points, three rebounds and four assists, while Ingram racked up 31 points, four boards and two assists.

Ingram’s game has really expanded. Remember when he was drafted? We said he looked almost comically thin in his suit, with his arms and legs having about as much definition as SpongeBob Squarepants.

Not any more.

His build means he will always be lean, but Ingram, now 26, is no longer comically thin. He’s vastly stronger and his game has really developed too, especially his perimeter skills.

As for Williamson, he is healthy and explosive again. The most comical part of this video is that he keeps going left for finger rolls and his defender, former UNC star Harrison Barnes, is absolutely unable to do a thing about it.

What could be worse than knowing exactly what your opponent will do and there’s not a thing you can do to stop him?

If these two can remain healthy - and that’s no sure thing - the Pelicans are going to be a load.
