Youngstown State Game Thoughts
Youngstown State is in the Horizon conference.
With a little research here is what I learned:
Youngstown State is not ranked overall. Youngstown State is picked 5th out of 11 teams in the Horizon conference.
Youngstown State is 3-2, with wins over teams that I do not recognize.
Youngstown States head coach is Jerrod Calhoun who was named the Horizon coach of the year, last year.
Based upon the last few games, Youngstown State is playing 10 different guys but the top 7 guys with minutes are: Ziggy Reid 66 GR who played last year at Merrimack and averaged 23.7 points per game. He must have played with Daytons Bennett. DJ Burns 67 GR, Brandon Rush 63 GR, Bryson Langdon 59 GR, EJ Farmer 65 JR, Brett Thompson 61 GR and Jaylen Bates 67 SR. The team also has a 69, 70 and 73 guys on the roster but they are not playing much. 6 of the top 7 guys are either graduate students or a senior.
