From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., floats, performers, and balloons traveled from the Upper West Side of Manhattan to 34th Street as crowds cheered.
New floats graced the streets of New York this year, including Beagle Scout Snoopy, Kung Fu Panda's Po, and the Pillsbury Dough Boy, as USA Today reported.

The parade began with a marching band followed by a turkey float.
