ECOWAS council meets, seeks regional stability

The Mediation and Security Council of the Economic Community of West African States held its 39th ambassadorial-level meeting in Abuja on November 23 to foster stability in the region. In a statement made available to journalists on Saturday, the presiding chair Musa Sani Nuhu welcomed progress but noted great challenges still impeding development and integration.
