Man Utd fans left feeling sorry for steward as new away end footage of Garnacho’s stunning overhead kick surfaces
NEW footage of Alejandro Garnacho’s stunning overhead kick has emerged on social media.
And it has left some Manchester United fans feeling sorry for a steward in the away end of Goodison Park.
Garnacho scored an incredible bicycle kick just three minutes into United’s Premier League clash with Everton on Sunday.
It prompted a wild response from the visiting supporters, with many left stunned.
A new angle of the goal – recorded by a fan in the away end – emerged on social media on Monday morning.
However, rather than focusing on the goal, some fans were quick to point out the steward’s reaction.
One replied: “The steward couldn’t turn and look at Garnacho’s goal… this job .”
Another wrote: “That job is one of the hardest.”
A third fan added: “I can’t be there and not watch my team score!”
While another tweeted: “That steward just missed one of the best goals in the Prem .”

Man Utd went on to win the game 3-0 thanks to goals from Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
Discussing his goal at full-time, Garnacho said: “I couldn’t believe I scored it, to be honest.
“I didn’t see how I scored, I just listened to the crowd and said, ‘Oh my God’. One of the best goals I’ve scored – I’m very happy.”
