Report: 49ers working out CB Anthony Averett

The San Francisco 49ers are working out veteran cornerback Anthony Averett on Monday, NFL Network reported.

Averett, who turns 29 on Thursday, played for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 after four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. He spent time with the 49ers in the preseason before joining the Detroit Lions' practice squad.
