A Streaker Caused Chaos on Disneyland's 'It's a Small World'

Anaheim police were called to Disneyland on Sunday afternoon after a guest on the theme park's iconic "It’s a Small World" ride disrobed and began to cause chaos in front of families and children.

The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m., and it was around 3:00 p.m. before the ride reopened to the public. In videos that subsequently made their way online, the unidentified 26-year-old man could be seen having stripped down to his underwear, jumping onto the platforms and running around the animatronic robots and colorful set pieces.

At one point, he could be seen climbing over a few robots and to sit down in the fake water in front of the ride's representation of the Taj Mahal, as an employee shouted at him to stop. "Oh my god, he's going to break all the stuff," another guest could be heard saying.

Things apparently went from bad to worse, however, when he removed his underwear and began wading around in the river near the ride's entrance, completely in the nude.

"I am on 'Small World' and there was a streaker, I cannot believe this happening," one bystander named Ashley Esqueda all-caps posted to X, formerly Twitter.

"From the looks of it, it is a VERY SMALL world," quipped Esqueda, who said that she and her four-year-old were trapped on the ride for at least an hour.

According to Los Angeles' KTLA 5 News, officers with the Anaheim Police Department arrived to assist security with the incident, and the man was arrested for indecent exposure and being under the influence of a controlled substance. As a precaution, police said that he was taken to a local hospital not be evaluated.
