The inaugural CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup will be played at BMO Stadium and Dignity Health Sports Park. The venues were confirmed as host venues, along with Shell Energy Stadium in Houston and Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.

The tournament runs Feb. 17-March 10.

The 12-team group stage, which will include eight CONCACAF teams and four CONMEBOL (South American) teams, will be played Feb. 20-28. Group A will be at DHSP, Group B at Snapdragon and Group C at Shell Energy Stadium.

Also, the six teams that will compete in the preliminary round will take place Feb. 17 at DHSP’s Track and Field Stadium. The three winners then move to Group A, where the USWNT is the No. 1 seed.

The quarterfinals will then move to BMO Stadium on March 2 and 3. The semifinals (March 6) and final (March 10) will be played at Snapdragon.

The official draw will take place Dec. 11.

“When we launched our women’s football strategy, we committed to developing the sport for women and girls at all levels,” CONCACAF President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani said. “Much work has been done in the past four years, ranging from delivering more girls football projects in our region and implementing enhanced women’s coaching initiatives in the Caribbean and Central America.

“The CONCACAF W Gold Cup is the pinnacle of the women’s game in our Confederation and it will provide an opportunity to celebrate that progress and commit to doing even more in the future.”
