A 26-year-old man, Brijrajsinh Zala, was arrested in Kutch district after a video of him forcing a Muslim shopkeeper to chant 'Jai Shri Ram' went viral. He was booked under IPC section 298. The incident took place in Khatri market, where Zala asked the shopkeeper, Naeem Khan, about his religion and got furious when Khan refused to chant 'Jay Shri Ram'. The video circulated on social media, leading to Zala's arrest by the police, which was confirmed by Mukesh Chaudhary, deputy superintendent of police in Anjar.
