I gave my window a mega Christmas makeover for just £1.60 using an Amazon buy – people say they’re desperate to copy it
A WOMAN has revealed that she has given her window the ultimate Christmas makeover, whilst on a budget.
So if you want to give your home a total transformation for the festive season, you’ll need to take notes.
DIY enthusiast Kizzie Fulljames explained that she ordered a cheap buy from Amazon and was able to give her plain window a stunning overhaul, leaving many open-mouthed.
Costing her just £1.60, Kizzie was thrilled with her affordable display, and took to social media to show it off.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.3 million members, Kizzie shared snaps of her festive window.
She wrote: “The total cost of my hand drawn festive window was approximately £1.60.
“Thanks to Amazon’s chalk pens (five for £8, which I did the full window with just one pen!”
Kizzie’s window was complete with Christmas lights, candy canes and baubles galore.
But noy only this, she also added snowflakes, reindeers and Christmas puddings too.
If that wasn’t enough, at the bottom of the December scene, Kizzie drew houses, complete with decorations and Christmas trees.
She even added street lights and snowmen too.
Kizzie shared her post just 10 hours ago, but it has clearly left many extremely impressed, as it has quickly amassed a staggering 4,800 likes and 754 comments.
Social media users were gobsmacked at the window display and were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Wow this looks amazing, very talented.”
Another added: “Wow. Do you have a link to the pens please? Mine probably [won’t] be as good as yours but worth a try.”
A third commented: “This looks so lovely.”
Whilst someone else shared: “Very impressive!!”
Meanwhile, many other Facebook users admitted that they were inspired by Kizzie’s window display and were eager to do the same themselves.
One user penned: “That’s fab, I’ll be doing the same.”
A second claimed: “I wanna do this.”
At the same time, another festive fan chimed in: “Thanks for this year’s inspo!!!”
