'Thanks Tay!' Travis Kelce responds to Taylor Swift liking an Instagram post on his record and fans lost it
Although it appears that Taylor Swift didn’t make a cameo on the latest New Heights podcast this week as fans so badly wanted, she did get a shoutout from Travis Kelce.
Or, more specifically, “Tay” did. That was what the Kansas City Chiefs tight end called the singer/songwriter who might be with him this week after she finished her 2023 Eras Tour stops.
Jason Kelce brought up the fact that Swift liked the Chiefs’ Instagram post about Travis becoming the fastest tight end to reach 11,000 receiving yards. How did Travis reply?
“Thanks Tay, I appreciate you,” he said. When asked if she’s always been a fan of tight end receiving yards, he added, “I don’t know if she’s a fan of tight ends or not. I’ll have to ask.”
Cheeky! Fans went nuts about that response, reading very much into what he was trying to say to Swift:
