Jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan has opted not to contest the intra-party polls for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman position. Instead, he has nominated Barrister Gohar Khan for the post to lead the party in the upcoming general elections. Confusion arose within the PTI after dismissing a statement from one of its senior leaders claiming that Imran Khan would not contest the chairman's post in the intra-party polls.
