My dad was warned that the Xmas tree we chopped down wouldn’t fit outside, let alone in our house – he got it anyway
IF there’s one element to never skip around the festive period it’s a stunning Christmas tree – and we’re sure it’s be impossible to beat this family’s green monster.
Like most households across the world, the Griswald family are now getting ready for the festive season ahead – and of course, that involves finding the perfect Christmas tree to decorate later.
But whilst many of us are opting for a regularly-sized tree, the USA-based family has decided to go all out this year, getting a tree so massive, it’s gone viral on social media.
According to one member of the brood, Chelle Brigham, they had visited a special tree farm, where for every tree harvested they plant five others in its place.
The eco-friendly deal, she added in the video, also supports local farmers.
Whilst checking out the vast collection of potential Christmas trees, the group stumbled across one they instantly fell in love with – and at first, it didn’t look as massive.
However, after the goods were transported back to their home, the family realised they had made a BIG mistake – the tree was so big, that some even reckoned it probably had forest animals living between the hundreds of branches.
In fact, the Christmas tree was so high, one of the family members had to walk upstairs to the second floor to remove all the strings.
As the tree revealed its jaw-dropping and imposing size, they all looked at it totally stunned, with several ”Oh My Gods” mentioned.
But although it will for sure take ages to bedazzle it with ornaments and lights, not to mention the cleaning up, at least their home with smell ”like Christmas”, the family chuckled.
Since being shared on TikTok, the video has gone viral, racking close to 10million views in just three days.
Gobsmacked, thousands raced to comments, where one said: ”bro, that’s not a Christmas Tree. that’s just a tree.”
Another agreed, adding: ”When your Christmas tree is SO BIG it only fits in the forest.”
Meanwhile, others were more concerned about another aspect – forest guests hiding underneath.
”All I see is spiders, and squirrels coming out in the middle of the night.”
”He got a Christmas forest,” a fourth joked.
But as were getting into the festive spirit, do you know where to get a bottle of Baileys for the cheapest? The supermarket bargain deal has been found – and it’s not Asda.
According to new data, it’s best to head to the nearest Tesco or Sainsbury’s, where the boozy drink has been slashed to the lowest price.
Tesco has cut the price of its 1litre Original flavour bottle to £10 for Clubcard customers.
Meanwhile, Sainsbury’s is offering the bottle for £10 to Nectar Card customers.
You can download both loyalty schemes as apps on to your smartphone.
After the UK’s two largest supermarkets, Asda, Morrisons and Ocado are the next cheapest – they are all selling the 1litre bottle for £13.
Online giant Amazon has the tipple on sale for £13 as well.
