Recently, we saw Amazon and Home Bargains release their own versions of the much-loved cup.
And now, Primark has jumped on the bandwagon and has released their very own dupe.
One savvy shopper took to social media to show off the cheap buy, leaving many open-mouthed.
But TikTok users were divided at the cup – while many were desperate to nab one, others had the same complaints.
Phoebe Smith, who works at a Primark store in Derby explained that the chain is now selling their own stainless steel thermal mugs.
Showing off the bargain buys, which come in trendy grey and beige are complete with a metal straw.
The Primark employee penned: “Stanley dupe at Primark!”
She later explained: “Perfect for hot and cold drinks.
“These ones are in Derby, have landed today, limited stock.
“I’m not sure about other stores, I’m assuming this week.”
So if you’re on a budget and don’t fancy spending £44.99 on the cup, you’ll be able to save yourself £36.99 thanks to this affordable alternative.
The stainless steel mug will ensure your drink stays hot or cold no matter the temperature, makes for the perfect Christmas gift, and is perfect for those looking to up their water intake.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @phxxb3smxth, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a staggering 275,600 views in just one day.
Social media users were left stunned at the new dupe buy and were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “This is not a want, THIS IS A NEED.”
Another added: “I want it.”
Whilst a third tagged a friend and commented: “Run.”
However, at the same time, many shoppers all had the same complaint.
Not only were Primark fans not impressed with the price, but others thought that they were too small compared to other dupes on the market.
One user penned: “£4.99 at Home Bargains, and they’re a lot bigger!!”
A second claimed: “I got mine from The Range and it’s bigger for £4.”
Someone else shared: “Wish they were bigger.”
Meanwhile, another bargain hunter advised: “Look on Temu or Shein, 40oz for £4.”
