My DIY Christmas wreath costs $5 and is ready in minutes, use Dollar Tree mop heads for the expensive looking decoration
A SEASONAL craft fan has created the cutest DIY Christmas wreath in just minutes.
It cost the princely sum of just $5 and the mop heads came from Dollar Tree.

But there was nothing cheap-looking about this decoration.
Once The Navage Patch (@thenavagepatch) had finished, it gave the appearance of something far more expensive.
These Christmas craft creators have 1.2 million followers on their TikTok, where they share their love of: “DIY, home improvement, and seasonal crafts.”
In this post, all the elements of their festive decoration came from Dollar Tree.

Festive seasonal decoration made easy - and cheap - with this idea from The Navage Patch. All the elements came from Dollar Tree. All prices per unit.
One green foam floral ring – $1.25
Microfiber mop heads – $1.25
Mini Bottle Brush trees – $1.25
Glue to attach.
Battery-operated fairy lights – $1.25
Cut mop heads in half and hot glue them one by one onto the wreath form.
Cut the base off the bottle brush trees, and glue these on too.
Pin battery-operated fairy lights to the back of the wreath.
Switch on enjoy a mini light display.
“$5 DIY mop wreath,” they began and went on to explain what you needed and how to construct this fun item.
“You’ll need a 10-inch floral wreath form and three duster mop heads from Dollar Tree,” they said.
“Cut the mop heads in half and hot glue them one by one onto the wreath form.
“Three mop heads are just the right number to perfectly fill the form for a soft and full winter wreath.”
Next, came the Christmas trees: “Just cut the base off the bottle brush trees with scissors, add a dab of hot glue, and nestle them into the wreath.”
They completed the wreath by giving it a festive glow.
“I put battery-operated fairly lights behind mine for a soft and magical glow,” they said.
“This wreath takes only a few minutes and a few dollars to make. But it looks like something so much more,” they wrote, feeling satisfied with their achievable project.
Commenters certainly liked it.
