Former Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby came out of retirement to return to Northern Iowa as interim athletic director.
Bowlsby, who retired as Big 12 chief in 2022, was named interim AD by the school Wednesday as it searches for a replacement for David Harris, who left to become the AD at Tulane.
