Girls Aloud make major change ahead of their tour after Cheryl Tweedy admits she doesn’t want to embarrass her son
IN disappointing news for Girls Aloud fans everywhere, the group have admitted they’ll be ditching their skimpy stage outfits for something a little more demure this time around.
Cheryl Tweedy, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts will hit the road next year for a comeback tour.

She said: “I don’t want (Bear) going to school and having people be like, ‘I’ve seen your mums arse the other day’. He’s a boy, they’re lads.”
Kimberley added: “A catsuit I can get on board with but I don’t think my children would appreciate it.”
Nadine was a little more game however and joked: “I’ll have my arse out, I’ll take one for the team.”
In a revealing interview on Jessie Ware’s Table Manners podcast, the group also opened up on the early days of their career – admitting they had no idea they had to pay certain bills.
Nadine said: “We got a £30,000 car bill.
“I thought cars came for free.
Until our lawyers said: ‘You owe £30,000,’ and we did not have £30,000 to spend on cars.”
Opening up about the loss of their bandmate Sarah Harding, who died of breast cancer in 2021, the group said they would use Sarah’s voice on certain tracks on the tour.
Cheryl said: “We’ve not got that far down the line in terms of creative directions but we know which bits are not touchable.
“There are big moments that are very apparently Sarah that we won’t be able to touch.”
Kimberley added: “With her mum’s blessing we would rather just let her voice play.
“We will have those conversations and make sure everybody is happy.”
