Shoppers have spotted Quality Street boxes selling for cheap[/caption]With only a few weeks until Christmas, many are rushing to stock up on sweet treats this month.
But with the cost of items going up – Brits are on the lookout for great deals.
Luckily, bargain hunters have noticed Farmfoods is selling the beloved chocolate box on reduced price.
One savvy shopper took to Facebook to share her bargain find in the Extreme Couponing And Bargains UK group.
The money-saver revealed she spotted an amazing deal on Quality Street boxes scanning for just £1.99 at the tills of Farmfoods.
The tubs contain 410grams of chocolate and normally retail for three times its price in other superstores.
Shoppers are now rushing to clear the shelves and stock up on the popular chocolate.
One user said: “That’s cheap,” another added: “I need several of these.”
Someone said: “Bring a shopping bag tomorrow, we’ll go for a spin to Farmfoods.”
The cheapest supermarkets selling Quality Street are currently Sainsbury’s and Tesco, charging £4 if you’re signed up to their loyalty schemes.
The next cheapest after Sainsbury’s and Tesco is Aldi at £4.49, then Ocado and Asda at £4.50.
Although if you fancy two tubs, Asda does have two for £8 deal.
Meanwhile, Morrisons and B&M are all selling a 600g tub for £5.
The most expensive place to buy the chocs this week is currently Iceland, which is selling them for £5.50.
Elsewhere, Iceland shoppers can bag themselves a free tub of Quality Street or Celebrations just in time for Christmas.
However, savvy customers will need to move quickly though as the offer is only available to the first 1,000 people.
To get your hands on the freebie, all you have to do is enter the code FREE-CHOC at the checkout when you place an online delivery from the high street supermarket, according to the hotukdeals website.
