Channel 4 News in chaos as weatherman abruptly halts report in bizarre clip
CHANNEL 4 News descended into chaos after the show’s weatherman abruptly halted his report.
The broadcaster‘s flagship bulletin had just come to an end as Liam Dutton was standing by.
But as he brought viewers through the latest forecast he suddenly stopped his report.
He told viewers: “There will be a few patches of freezing fog for Wales, the Midlands and East Anglia.
“But a cold night with widespread frost, temperatures below freezing and a risk of a few…”
At that point Liam stopped and could be heard saying: “Somebody has just opened the door.”
The weatherman looked puzzled before producers pulled the bulletin off air.
Eagle-eyed Channel 4 viewers were quick to notice the blunder and flooded social media with their reaction.
One said: “Who opened the door on Liam doing the Channel 4 News weather?”
A second said: “Bit of a cliffhanger in channel 4 weather tonight…”
“On Channel 4 a weather warning appears to be in place for people opening doors leading to big sighs of frustration,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “Ok that was weird on Channel 4 weather. Who opened the door?”
Following the confusion, Liam took to social media to address the mishap.
He told viewers: “Hi everyone, Thanks for asking, but no need to worry, I’m fine.
“The wrong take of the pre-recorded weather was aired. Who was at the door shall remain a mystery…”
