But Ant and Dec reassured fans that the US actress, 32, is well after leaving camp to head home.
Ant told fans: “We’ve got some breaking news for you, Jamie Lynn Spears has left the camp on medical grounds.”
Dec added: “The good news is Jamie Lynn is doing fine and goes away with our best wishes.”
Just hours before Wednesday night’s I’m A Celebrity aired, it was announced that Jamie Lynn had left the jungle.
An ITV spokesperson said: “Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds.
“She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities.”
Jamie Lynn’s exit came after she made several threats to leave the jungle.
The star – who is the sister of Britney Spears – had cried about leaving her two daughters behind in the States.
Her departure has also come two days after Grace Dent walked out of I’m A Celebrity.
The food critic also left on medical grounds and has since flown home to the UK.
The Sun Online has confirmed that bosses will not be replacing Jamie Lynn with a stand-by celebrity.
Meanwhile, it has also been feared by fans that YouTuber Nella Rose could be next to leave the jungle after also appearing to struggle under pressure.
