I’M A Celebrity fans have insisted a comment from one of the campmates pushed Jamie Lynn Spears to quit the show.
It was revealed today Jamie Lynn, 32, had left the camp on “medical grounds” follow a tough few days for the US star.
During Tuesday night’s show Sam Thompson branded Jamie Lynn the “girl who cried wolf” as she threatened to walk again.
After she defiantly insisted she wasn’t crying wolf and later did quit, one person wrote on social media: “Jamie Lynn said ‘The boy who cried wolf, my s**’ and dipped.”
Another said: “Jamie Lynn really said I ain’t the girl who cried wolf.”
Someone else wrote: “I feel like Sam caused that calling her the girl who cried wolf.” And a fourth added: “Jamie Lynn left. I reckon Sam saying she was crying wolf had a bit to do with it.”
Hitting back at Sam at the time, she said: “I’m not the girl who cried wolf, I’m speaking honestly about my emotions.”
There’s no denying Jamie Lynn – the sister of pop star Britney – struggled during her time in the jungle, and almost quit the show just two days after arriving in camp.
Also in Tuesday night’s show Jamie Lynn was seen in the camp phone box attempting to call her family.
After realising the phone didn’t make outgoing calls, she said: “I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it here.”
