Race Information for Trail Users December 2 – 3
We extend our gratitude to all our members for warmly welcoming racers from across North America as they converge to compete at the Western Canada Cup, an event we proudly host on December 2nd and 3rd.
Due to limited available trails and lower-than-normal snow levels, trail limitations are necessary.
Safety is our top priority and we know that you will understand the need for these limitations with the minimal snowfall this season so far.
On Friday, December 1st, designated as the official training day (anticipate congestion in the parking lots), there will be no limitations or closures. However, racers and recreational skiers are urged to exercise caution.
Specifically for Saturday, December 2nd (9 am to 4 pm), the stadium will be closed to both members and the public for skiing. Alternative trails, such as Passmore (refer to the 1.2 km race course in the Race Notice on the website), will be available. Parking will be extremely limited between 7:30 am – 1:30 pm.
On Sunday, December 3rd, there will be a full trail closure, encompassing all groomed trails.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these adjustments for the successful hosting of the event.
Please consider volunteering and cheering on our athletes!
