A day after the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) lifted the GRA restrictions in Noida and Ghaziabad, the air quality deteriorated slightly. The air quality index (AQI) in Noida was 272, Greater Noida's AQI was 286, and Ghaziabad's AQI was 236, all in the 'poor' category. Delhi, on the other hand, saw improvement with an AQI of 290. The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology predicts that the air quality will remain 'poor' in Delhi on Thursday and Friday, and turn 'very poor' by Saturday for the next six days.
