An associate of jailed gangster Kaushal, Karan alias Ali, was arrested for the 2019 murder of property dealer Vijay Batra near a condominium in Gurgaon. Karan, who belonged to Palwal, met Kaushal in Dubai while working at a bank. He helped Kaushal hide out in Dubai and coordinated with gang members to murder Batra. Karan's passport, seized by the police, is genuine. He is likely involved in other criminal activities and further investigation will be conducted. Karan was also close to Kaushal's associate Amit Dagar.
