Family members and friends of the 41 workers, who were safely pulled out from a portion of the tunnel, that collapsed on November 12, burst into celebrations after word of their rescue reached them. Many of them, who had been following the tense rescue operation on television over a couple of weeks, broke into unbridled joy and even burst crackers after their loved ones finally saw light at the end of the tunnel.
