Shopper finds £2 shower gel dupes in Boots – which are ‘identical’ to Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum & Lush’s Snow Fairy
WITH the cost of everything going up, it’s easy to get in a lather about beauty basics costing a fortune.
However, one savvy shopper claims to have found dupes for viral shower gels – which cost less than £2 each!
These budget friendly alternatives are bound to sell out[/caption] Fitness influencer Abbi shared what she has been adding to her basket[/caption]Unless you’ve been avoiding social media, you’ll probably be aware that supermarket have become the go to destination for beauty dupes.
Tiktok has become littered with beauty gurus raiding the middle aisle of ALDI and Lidl for the coveted budget beauty finds.
However, it seems many of us have been overlooking the high street when it comes to find dupes of our favourite design and high end brands.
In fact, one shopper claims to have found the ultimate dupes at Boots which smell virtually ‘identical’ to Lush’s Snow Fairy and Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum shower gels.
Fitness influencer Abbi Taylor discovered this after nipping into her local branch and later shared her purchase with her 82,000 followers on TikTok.
Furthermore, the dupes cost just a fraction of the actual brands and you can even collect Advantage Card points when you pick up them up.
First on the fitness guru’s shopping list, the Treaclemoon Brazilian Love – which looked virtually identical to the Sol de Janeiro original.
With the bright blue and yellow packaging, the shower gel is sure to brighten up any bland bathroom shelf and will transport you to sunnier shores every time you use it.
Just like the Sol de Janeiro shower gel, this Boots dupe has notes of sweet pistachio and salted caramel as well as guarana extract to help repair your winter skin.
Whilst the high end version costs an eye watering £39.20 for 1000ml, you can find the Treaclemoon alternative for just £1.99 (500ml) at Boots.
This little known brand also has a dupe for Lush’s iconic Snow Fairy shower gel, which is only available over the festive period.
With Christmas coming only once a year, many of us will be missing this sugary sweet scent but thankfully, gym bunny Abbi has found an alternative.
Not only does Treaclemoon’s Candy Angel have a similar sounding name, but it has the same bubblegum scent – which is sure to get you in the mood for the festive season.
As Lush’s limited edition shower gel is often out of stock and costs £14, you could save a small fortune by switching to Boots alternative – which is only £1.99.
Unsurprisingly, many of Abbi’s followers are now racing to the high street store to get these dupes.
Tagging a friend, one user wrote: “A Boots trip is needed!”
Another frequent user even begged the influencer not to share the dupes, commenting: “Nooooo. I buy these all of the time and now I can’t get them anymore cos everyone buys them now.”
However, a third revealed that there were even more treats from Treaclemoon and wrote: “There is a whole range of the Brazilian Love!! Hand cream, body lotion and body scrub!!!! I’m so in love !!!”
We can’t wait to try out the shower gels, if they don’t sell out first!
