When asked about the national anthem issue, the Speaker said, “I have received a complaint and will definitely look into the matter. I will take appropriate action. Let us see what can be done and I will issue an administrative order on the issue. The BJP MLAs were sitting in the vicinity but I will not comment whether they have heard the national anthem or not. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took note of the matter and has brought the issue to attention.”
