Electric blankets are a great way to help you try and cut back on your energy bills.
And this electric throw will cost you just 3p an hour to run.
Checkatrade estimates that the average cost of running your heating per kilowatt-hour is around 7p.
For a 24kW boiler that’s about £1.68 an hour so this is much cheaper.
But you will have to head into your local The Range store if you want this gadget as they aren’t available for online delivery.
You can use the store finder tool on The Range’s website to locate your nearest site.
Always make sure you shop around to see if you can find the item for a better deal elsewhere.
You can compare prices on websites like Google Shopping and Trolley.co.uk – which compares the prices of 130,000 products across 14 major supermarkets.
The Latest Deals app also lets you search items and lets you compare prices at dozens of major retailers to see where it’s cheapest.
Prices vary – with some as low as £19 and others well above £100.
The Range’s cut-price electric blanket isn’t the cheapest we’ve seen.
Curry’s shoppers can bag a Status electric underblanket for 99p less at £19.
Lidl recently slashed the price of Silentnight luxury heated throws from £40 to £24.99.
But before you head into the store to grab one of these make sure you check to see if you can get one for free first.
Some energy companies are giving away electric blankets for free the year to customers who need them most.
Reach out to your energy supplier to see if you are eligible.
How else can I keep warm this winter
There are a few other things you can do to keep warm this winter without breaking the bank.
Get yourself a hot water bottle, they are always great for a cost-free way of keeping warm.
Don’t forget about preventative measures, draught-proof your home and seal your windows to stop air coming in.
Prices for draught excluders start from a fiver in most stores but a thick blanket rolled up will work just as well.
Loft insulation is also very important as it can stop heat escaping, therefore slashing your heating bill.
You can buy insulation from all local builder merchants or retailers such as B&Q and Wickes.
