TE Zach Ertz granted request for release by Cardinals

The decision to part ways was said to be mutual, per Ertz's former teammate, J.J. Watt.

The Cardinals will move on with tight end Trey McBride while Ertz will head to waivers.

Ertz, 33, was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 24 due to a quad strain. He sustained the injury two days earlier in Ariz
