I don’t like wearing tights – I prefer to shave my hairy legs into circles for a funky polka dot look instead
POLKA dot tights are all the rage right now – but instead of buying a pair, one fashionista has revealed how she achieves the same result by shaving her legs into cute circles.
Most of us have hairy legs – but whilst some have embraced the au naturel look, others, like Blue Eons, 23, have decided to stick to razors and make their lower half smooth.
Although the overall process took her more than five hours, the young woman seemed to be all chuffed with the results[/caption] However, the response online was mixed, as some reckoned she had too much ‘time to waste’[/caption] The thrifty fashionista promised to continue the project later[/caption]However, rather than achieving an overall hairless look, the young woman recently revealed she likes to give her legs a rather unique design – by carefully shaving her hairs into dozens of polka dots.
But that’s not all – to add an extra element, the thrifty fashionista also used ”some water-activated liner” to dye the patches of hair pitch black.
If you think that this is where the style lover stopped, you’re wrong, as the 23-year-old also applied dozens of goggly eyes onto the black polka dots.
Perhaps in the festive spirit, the social media star decided to complete the look with numerous colourful gems and stars, ranging from baby pink to bright orange.
”I knew the result would look really cool,” Blue Eons told the followers in her video.
Although the process took her long six hours and she hadn’t even done the back of her legs yet, Blue Eons couldn’t have been happier with her DIY tights.
”I could not have anticipated how long this was gonna take me – but honestly, it was worth it.”
But whilst the stunner, who posts under the username @blueeons, may have been all chuffed, the unique project left social media users totally divided and not everyone was a fan of the idea.
Not only were many totally baffled by what they had just seen, some insisted that she should find different hobbies.
One meanie wrote: ”Six hours… the definition of time to waste.”
”I can’t even be a*sed shaving my legs, let alone shaving parts and decorating them. Get a life,” a second chimed in.
”You need a job, college, something,” another told the woman, who allegedly already has a full-time occupation.
But it wasn’t all negative mocking, as there were also plenty of fellow fashionistas who found the idea ”awesome’.
”Art on the body! This would be awesome for a photoshoot!” wrote one fanatic.
Someone else agreed, adding: ”This is one of the most random and weird things I’ve seen and… I LOVE it!”
After being met by an army of trolls, the thrifty fashionista also hit back at the meanies – and her response was simple.
”Am I hurting you or something? Lol, you get a life.”
What’s more, she added she wasn’t ”embarrassed” by the unique look no matter what trolls were saying.
