Wakefield Trinity • Death pitch 2

Asiata has not committed an unlawful tackle (this season or last), and that has been deemed thus by the rules, and the MRP. If you're laughing at injured players, you should be pointed out as a sick fan, and a sick individual.

I think he’s lucky looking at the tackle last week. The bloke is going to injure a few players this season if he carries on hurling himself at players legs with no ability to pull out or adjust himself. He’s walking a fine line so... Читать дальше...

Wondering if anyone knows if the plans for the old changing rooms/hospitality building in the corner are still planned to go ahead? Wasn’t the council 2 million set aside for that part of the re development as that was for the community. Or has it been absorbed by the east stand build

Not as far as I remember.
The plans were to develop it but it was all Wakefield and other community investor money.

I think Ellis said he had different plans now. Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Time to give Max Wood and Bullock a chance

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Yeah 100% i thought when he's played for us he's played well and added some good punch up front. I'd love to see him back in the squad.
Harrison and Vaughan starting, with Musgrove, Philbin, Bullock and Wood fighting for Bench spots looks healthy.
Been very impressed with Wood, especially since i didn't think we'd see him so soon.
Real shame about Luke Thomas as he looked really good against Widnes, so i hope he can kick on next year.
Also i mean't to say i think Harrison has been Superb for us this year so far... Читать дальше...

Leicester were really lucky at Sunderland too... Sunderland should have had a stone wall pen and a red card and it wasn't given. Merson on Sky last night was saying Leeds and Ipswich should be livid..

So far we've given away the most penalties of any team, the most red cards, third highest missed tackles and third highest errors in the competition, that to me shows a team that isn't picking up the basic fundamentals of the game

To me I dont see that as all the coach, the players have to own them mistakes. I hardly doubt these are problems that are being ignored and in some regards problems that existed long before Smith.

I do feel like the negetivity in the stands doesnt help... Читать дальше...

All they are doing is getting investment just like many others.
It's just that this is public money instead of private.
If they can agree those terms good luck to them.......but clearly that is a fragile existence.
Apparently when we had the license removed the club wasn't running things correctly e.g. no DBS checks on staff. Things are much more professional now and this is 90% down to Ryan Hunkin.
And not forgetting the vast amount of unpaid work done by Mr Hirst when he first came to the club as acadamy & youth director.
Oh and Mitch Souter is trying hard to get used to driving around roundabouts.

That's because a lot of Aussie roundabouts are where you can feed in from the left hand lane without giving way to the right!

Seems a strange signing from Turner's point if view. You'd think he'd have better options.

In terms if part time, he certainly won't be but I guess they say they are part time if some of the squad are.

I think they now only have 20 players on the books. I’m guessing they will all be full time but just a skinny squad and they’ll save on wages early part of season and add full time players as they go. My guess is it’s all smoke and mirrors and the majority will be full time. Читать дальше...

I thought Bullock looked really good and had a cracking game, fair play it was against London but he looked well up for it. If he puts that same effort in against Catalans we might see him back sooner than later.

Fev signing an nrl/cup half back.

I don’t buy for one second they have gone to part time. I think they are just trying to go under the radar this season and are mostly full time operation.

Certainly Fev and Toulouse are the biggest threats. We need to be better than them on the day.
