I think there has to be some sacrifices, obviously cap management is the key and use of the marquee spots to maximise value against the additional dispensations.

Keighran I think will only do the 2 years, Isa, Cooper, Farrell possibly returning in the not too distant it’s a real juggling act.

Think this is good for him. Very close to the 17 but (just) behind Bullock and Philbin. Gives him regular open age experience so fine with me.

London Broncos • Huddersfield - Home

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Feels like a new "loans" team about to be announced for Sunday. Harvey Makin first in. Totally passed me by that he appeared once for London last year.

I'm not very enthused at bringing in young players not yet ready for teams in the same league and on short term loans. Ethan Natoli looks like it will be May before he's available. Reiss Butterworth won't play against his own team even if we extended.

Now wondering if missing that final tackle at Hull turns out to be the closest we get to a victory this season. Читать дальше...

London Broncos • Wolves in the Cup

Although the narrow loss to Wire was disappointing on the plus side i see we dodged Saints away. So focus now on the League.

Don't worry everyone, Bamber's cracked it!

Pretty certain by the end there he's getting his words of wisdom from The A-Team!

Wigan Warriors • Jake Wardle 5 Year deal

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

New 5 year deal.

I was told when he signed he had no interest in the NRL, turned down interest from Melbourne at the time, but you do still worry.

Seems he’s here for the best part of his career now at least which is great news.

Wakefield Trinity • Re: No grade A for 2025 for Trinity?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Thinks its common knowledge. The biggest gain for Trinity will be on performance, which even if all goes well will be a few years yet. He's looking at an extra 1 to 1.5, putting us around the 14 mark. A high grade B.

Matt Ellis has apparently revealed we're unlikely to be a grade A for next season, but he's hoping for us to be a top grade club . Hopefully in SL

Leeds Rhinos • Starting Props

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I’d only keep Oledzki out of the main four props if there were better options available. If Lisone and Sangare are classed as “impact” props, the only impact they have on me is raising my blood pressure. Lisone gets bullied by better teams and his stamina is poor. I would also question his work ethic at times. Sangare is another one with low stamina, and his impact isn’t big enough for his minutes on the field. Holroyd for whatever reason can’t seem to bend the line, but I wouldn’t question the lad’s effort. Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • Catalan Dragons Ticket Question.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Whilst it isn't exactly a hive of activity, I found plenty enough to do for a few days. Admittedly, mostly involving drinking or eating of some sort. There are a few places I have bookmarked to visit this year, too.

I'm not sure what you mean about only finding one bar run by an Aussie guy, but there are enough decent bars around - a few that will show the other Super League games, too.

Sundays are known to be a slow day in Perpignan though, with a lot of places closed for the day. It may be worth planning for that. Читать дальше...

2006 not quite as good but we still made the playoffs where we beat Leeds in the elimination. I think everybody was still reasonably happy with Cullen at that point to where we were 4 years before.

What about the season before, 2005, losing 6-40 at home to Hull FC in the elimination playoff in front of a capacity crowd - and that's with Johns playing. Or the Powellesque 2 wins from 10 in 2006? Or missing the playoffs all together in 2007?

Nevermind, with a win ratio (48.9%) worse than Reg Bowden we will get to enjoy and reminisce the good old days every time we see the mural.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Got to agree there. Sit back and let them come onto us and we'll get beat as they'll raise their game for their annual cup final, it's all that matters in their strange little lives.

Looking at the squads though, it's the poorest Cas have chucked out in quite some years, and if we can't turn that over then we certainly do have some problems of our own.

Leeds by 20 surely?
