If, as expected, we take another hammering on Friday (especially if we are REALLY hammered) and Smith is still in the hot-seat for the Huddersfield game next week, then we will have to assume that he really is going nowhere and will remain in charge until the end of the year, at the very least.
If he isn't removed from post after three consecutive fifty-plus point defeats, then it's difficult to see what would make Pearson pull the plug. If he's not going to get rid of him this weekend, then why next? Читать дальше...

You don't get an A overnight.
The areas to improve are league position, which will be over a couple of years, fandom which we can help with on social media and attendances and maybe community trust.
Up to this season we were a long way behind on social media.
Penrith's back up 7 having a decent game, amazing to think some didn't want him here, especially given what we ended up with

I'll take any win, no matter how ugly.
Anyone else concerned that we're constantly unable to name a 21 man squad? This is the 3rd 20 man squad we have named in 4 games I think.

Marginally further away but no more than a brisk three minute stroll through what is styled the fan zone. You’re a bit nearer the concessions and the open air bar. A reasonable amount of choice food wise at the moment but all a bit pricy as you’d expect. I believe the by the horns pub does remain open after the game. Hope that helps.

Leon Ruan gone on loan to Doncaster for a month, a stand out at academy level, wouldn't have minded seeing him come back give the age of our second row.

Apologies if this has been mentioned as haven’t read back.
If you look at the clubs YT channel and other platforms it’s clear that by far and away the most views/interactions are from match highlights and full match replays. This is worth around maybe 10,000 views upwards a week and over the season that’s hundreds of thousands. All relevant to that media element of the scoring section posted by WT earlier this week.
These interactions if the game is available widely and on replay... Читать дальше...

This. Walk forward and play the ball from 2 metres ahead of where you're tackled and throw your arms around, feign a head injury when under pressure near your own line and lie on in the tackle for ages.

Think this match will be a lot closer than most think on here. Experienced them since the mid- forties and surprises do occur!
The last I attended was at Wembley in 1980 when I managed to fit the occasion into a business trip from Aus.

On Monday the Podcast had the chance to sit down with the New Chairman of Wigan, Professor Chris Brookes

Over nearly 2hrs we gained a fascinating insight into the life and background of Chris Brookes, getting the chance to hear about his journey both within the game and his personal and professional career in medicine.
Hope you enjoy
Feedback as always appreciated

If Doro is fit (and it seems a gamble as he's barely 5 weeks into a 8 week lay-off) then id expect us to line-up something like below.
With us being adamant that we weren't going down the route of short term loans, and us now having 6 loan players (granted two are season long) feel like it puts a bit of pressure on the loan lads to perform and also EOC to get a result Friday.

Arundel
Gill
Carr
Ott
Lilley
Doro
Souter

I think we will struggle with this one
We havent been our best for the last few weeks (WCC hangover) but if Saints have finally overcome their jetlag from last years trip to Aus then we are in trouble
Fingers crossed though

Not sure on attendance, but in cambells statement the other week he confirmed there was more of us than them.
I’d imagine there will be more fev fans this time round, with the better weather and it’s being a league game.
Wonder if they have sorted their open terrace capacity issues out
