Officers have fatally shot a knife-wielding man at a popular Southern California restaurant after pursuing him from the scene of a nearby machete attack. Los Angeles police say none of the many customers inside the Sagebrush Cantina were hurt in the Wednesday incident. Police say the victim of the machete attack was not seriously injured and had been able to disarm the attacker. But the assailant then pulled out a knife. Responding officers saw the suspect running and followed him to the restaurant where they tried to stop him using Tasers. Police say he was shot after he turned and faced officers while holding the knife.
